Important update information

We have recently made an important update to the Dynamic Learning Engine which enhances its functionality on both Mac and PC platforms.  It is important that you request that your network manager download and install the latest version of the Engine.

Amongst other improvements, this update adds the facility to choose a different default location in which to save Dynamic Learning user data.

Upgrading the Dynamic Learning Engine

PC Users

1. Download version 1.4.11 of the Engine here (26.5 Mb).  Save the file to a location of your choice.

2. Double-click the file to install.

N.B. If you install the new version of the Engine to the same location as your current version, any titles that you have 'mapped' using the Admin Console will remain mapped. If you are running the title across a network, any shortcuts that have been created on client machines will be unaffected.

Mac Users

1. Download a zip file containing version 1.4.11 of the Engine here (26Mb).

2. Unzip the file. Installation is drag-and-drop.

N.B. If you have used the Admin Console to 'map' to titles installed in other locations we suggest that you make a copy of the 'Admin:other:settings.xml' file. Once you have updated the two folders, restoring this file will save you having to 're-map' any titles.
