Praise for Dynamic Learning
"The Dynamic Learning software is very good and the VLE aspect will really appeal to schools. Seeing as we all have to create one, it offers a quick solution and one that is of a very high standard. I would certainly recommend it to other teachers in the school for their departments." Mr M Smith, ICT Co-ordinator, Farlingaye High School, Ipswich
“The ICT support team found it very easy to install. Hodder Education have thought ahead about installing the software on a network. If only other software was this easy to install, the support team’s life would be so much easier!” Patrick Pugh, Head of Humanities, Launceston College
"Dynamic Learning is a great resource and I have had lots of fun playing around with it. It was easy to install and I have found all the help I needed on the disk... Pupils responded well when I used this in the classroom and I am looking forward to next year when I can incorporate it far more into my lessons. Dynamic Learning can only enhance pupils’ experience of history. It is an innovative way of teaching history and I have really enjoyed using it so far." Bethan Miles, Cove School
"I was impressed, not only by the quality of the resources on the Dynamic Learning site but also the great flexibility built in so that teachers can own the planning and adapt for different classes." Patsy Rath, English Adviser Learning Services, Southampton City Council
"The most unique part of the product is the animations which are included. These could be very useful in the classroom, especially as they are full screen operations and are accompanied by sound. The worksheets which are attached to many of the activities also give you as the teacher the opportunity to give a hard copy to the students which is important even in this age of virtual learning environments! I also thought that the Lesson Builder section gave you great ideas for how to fit things together and provided a variety of tasks for pupils. When my pupils saw and used the product they were impressed by the clarity of sources and maps especially when I had enlarged them and brought them off the page. I also used some of the worksheets in conjunction with the product which proved very successful." Katie Hall, Harrogate Grammar School
"This year's educational technology BETT show in London featured a wide variety of blended learning products from most of the major publishers, but Hodder Education and Dynamic Learning has a special interest because it is based on e-book formats and therefore represents another stage in the hybrid development of learning resources... Hodder is doing better than most in getting this right... Hodder Dynamic Learning deserves a "best of breed" award..." David Worlock, Chief Research Fellow, Outsell, Inc., Insights, 16/1/08. Praise for the forthcoming Dynamic Learning version 2.0:
"I am very impressed with the new Dynamic Learning engine. It is the flexibility of the system that most appeals, the ability to deliver the content in a number of ways. A teacher can use the CD on their network as is or they can customize as suits them. The Lesson Builder is particularly powerful - being able to combine resources from the provided content mixed with a teacher's own resources makes for the best of both worlds. As an administrator you can take all of the resources in a content package and create a single SCORM package for upload to a SCORM compliant VLE. The new version of the engine however goes one stage further allowing the teacher to SCORM their individual lessons along with relevant pages from the title. This is a very flexible and easy to use system." Simon Billington, Learning & Teaching Adviser ICT, Wrexham CBC |
