Browser requirements

Basic requirements

Dynamic Learning is a rich web application which uses a combination of Flash, HTML, CSS and AJAX to deliver the experience of a desktop application in your browser.

On a PC, Dynamic Learning will run in Internet Explorer 7 and 8, Safari 4.0.5 and above, Firefox 3.6 and above, and Google Chrome 4 and above.

Dynamic Learning will not work in Internet Explorer 6.

On a Mac, Dynamic Learning will run in Safari and Firefox 3.6.

The program has been designed to run in a maximised browser window on screens no smaller than 1024 x 768 pixels in size.  On smaller screens, interface elements may be obscured and the experience will be sub-optimal.  Please ensure your screen meets this requirement.

We also recommend you set your browser to display as little "chrome" (toolbars and so on) as possible, in order to maximise the screenspace available to Dynamic Learning.

Unfortunately Flash is not currently supported on iPhones, iPods and iPads, so Dynamic Learning cannot properly be used on those devices.

Your browser will also need to have JavaScript enabled and the latest version of the Adobe Flash plugin, which is available free from Adobe.

Dynamic Learning does not require Java or any other plugins, although to open certain resource files you will need the relevant application (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Visio, for example, or Adobe Reader).
